Who We Are

Emmanuel Eduru Foundation was founded and registered by Emmanuel Eduru and Emmanuella Eduru formally in August 2021 with the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria.

Mission

To support in particular widows in need, orphans and children of single parents, promote gender equality through campaigns and advocacy.

Volunteers

Emmanuel Eduru Foundation will always work with volunteers at every project especially to minimize the cost of staffing and focus on its aims and objectives.

Beneficiaries

The beneficiaries are citizens of Nigeria that are widows in need and indigent students who have no support to further their education.

Our Story

It all started with visitations to orphanage Homes every 19th of May since the year 2000. In addition, we started a Monthly Support to Widows in 2017. Also, offered Educational Support to indigent Students who could not continue school. Due to lack of sponsors or parents’ inability to meet up financially.

In other to continue with this project, we decided to set up a structure and register it especially for accountability and transparency. Additionally, to also aid in getting collaborators from the public.

There is a huge gap in the social strata of Nigeria. Furthermore, young people need a lifeline since they are the future of every nation and society at large.

Why We Want To Help

Having volunteered for several NGOs in Gender Equality issues, most especially widows and young divorcees, then the willingness to support in this area became imperative.

The family unit forms the nucleus of the bigger society and women are the ones directly faced with the upbringing of children. Especially, their influence on children could either be positive or negative. In particular, this contributes to the character formation as the children grow up.

This is why Emmanuel Eduru Foundation has decided to join efforts with others already in the field to ensure that no child is left out when it comes to proper upbringing. In addition to getting access to basic education and career support and also to support widows. Also, attention needs to be paid both by the authorities and private individuals in our society.
