Before then, he was the Principal Partner of Prindacom Consulting; he was also the Chief Operating Officer of Phoenix Consulting, before joining the Standard Alliance Insurance Group. He bagged a B.Sc (Hons) and Master Degrees in Economics from the University of Lagos and a PhD Degree in Economics from Rochville University, USA.

He is an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACS); Associate Member, Institute of Certified Credit Administrators (AICCA); Associate, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) – (ANIM); Associate, Chartered Institute of Economists (ACIE) and Member, Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria (MIMCON).

David started his Insurance career as Investment Officer in NICON Insurance Plc in 1988. He worked for Insight Communications as Senior Media Executive for three years. He moved to Fidelity Bank Plc to commence his Banking career in 1993. His experience in Fidelity Bank includes Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking and Investment Banking at Fidelity Union Securities Limited. He later left for City Express Bank as Group Head, Commercial Banking where he later became Divisional Head, Corporate and Commercial Banking.

He had a stint at lecturing at the Lagos State University (School of Part-Time Studies, Lekki and Ikoyi Campuses) as well as at Crawford University, Igbesa. He is the pioneer Parents Teachers Association Chairman of FCE (Technical) Model Secondary School, Akoka and Cannon James Pearse Anglican College (CJPAC), Iwaya. He also served as a Member of CJPAC’s Governing Board and he is currently on the Governing Board of Babalola Academy College of Health Technology, Ilorin, Kwara State.

He had extensive local and international training in Banking, Industry, Insurance and Marketing Communication/Advertising. A member of the Ikoyi Club 1938. Dr Nsikakabasi is the Executive (Volunteer) Secretary of the Foundation.
